Ways To Get Involved

I like to think of our readers, tucked up in their favourite corner with a Palewell book, or finding time to read one on their way to work. But some readers asked how they can do more to support our work. Here are ways you can get involved.

• TESTIMONIALS & REVIEWS Running an independent press can be a solitary existence, so we welcome positive feedback. Please email us about a book or event you enjoyed. Most of our books are on Amazon, as well as other websites, and any of our authors would be thrilled with a review.
  
  
• VOLUNTEERING Like many non-profts, we rely on the work of volunteers. At different times, volunteers have uploaded Social Media posts about Palewell Press, helped the Senior Editor review submissions, and shared the running of book events. If you might be interested in volunteering for us, please let us know.
  
  
• PASSING BOOKS ON We're committed to sustainable publishing, including a book's "end-of-life", which could be after a reader had enjoyed it but no longer wished to keep it. You could really help by passing books you'd finished with to a Community Centre library or an organisation that supports refugees.
  
  
• DONATIONS We don't receive grants and most of our income comes from selling books. Donations enable us to do more mentoring and editorial work with refugees and writers from other marginalised groups.
