Olja Mladjenović

Olja Mladjenović is a writer, actor and artist who explores themes of identity and migration across multiple artistic forms.

Olja's work includes "Fish" (published in the 2022 Creative Futures anthology; awarded the Creative Futures Writing Award Commended Prize); "Open Wide" (short film directed by Atom Kuol, co-produced by Studio Imposters and Humble Beginnings Films); and "Wines from Santorini" (featured at the Etcetera Theatre for the 2021 Camden Fringe Festival as part of "Spectra," a collection of plays examining female relationships).

In 2024-25, Olja was selected for the prestigious London Library Emerging Writers Programme, where she is developing a semi-verbatim script.

As a co-editor with Dr. Sarah Jackson, Olja contributed to Hold to Record: Voice Notes from Refugees, published by Palewell Press in April 2025
