Viv Fogel is a poet, artist, educator, peace activist and has been working as an integrative psychotherapist and supervisor for over forty years. She has published articles on psychosynthesis, creative imagery, the use of arts in therapy, EFT (tapping) and has taught therapists to integrate energy-psychotherapy into their clinical (talk) practices.
Her poems have been published in anthologies and magazines since the 70’s, more recently in The Alchemy Spoon; Artemis; London Grip; Fly on the Wall’s Demos Rising; Ink, Sweat & Tears; and have been heard on radio. Her first collection was Without Question (Mandaras Press, 2006); and she has two pamphlets Witness (Mandaras Press, 2013) and How it is (Homebound Press, 2018). Her second collection Imperfect Beginnings (Fly on the Wall Press, 2023) looks at displacement, refugees, exile, ‘coming home’ and belonging - whatever that means. It was favourably reviewed including by award-winning poets George Szirtes, Jacqueline Saphra and Nigel Kent.
Although London-based Viv has one foot in the countryside and has written much about the restorative power of nature ... she lives with her partner, has three dual-heritage grandchildren and still loves dancing. This is her debut at editing.
