David Forrest is a writer and spoken word artist based in Glasgow. His pamphlet, From Glasgow to Damascus, contains poems and stories inspired by conversations with Syrian friends on the themes of conflict and home. Written at various points over the last eight years, these pieces draw from the perspectives of those most affected by the Syrian War and Europe's refugee crisis.
