Camilla Reeve & Sue Wallace-Shaddad at the Multicultural Book Fair

Saturday 14 September 2024
10:00 to 16:30

Join Palewell Press at our stall in this year's Multicultural Book Fair - a fantastic celebration of diversity, cultures, voices and stories. One of Palewell's latest writers, Sue Wallace-Shaddad, will be reading poems from her new pamphlet collection Once There Was Colour about the current crisis in Sudan. And Camilla will be reading from Because of You, poems by one of Lebanon's foremost living writers, translated by Mohamad Haj Mohamad and Anba Jawi.

And we also hope to catch up with our writing friends from 7 pm at the Book Fair's Gala Show. Camilla will be sharing poems from her latest collection, What I tell myself at night. The evening will be hosted by Joelle Taylor in the Tea House Theatre, 139 Vauxhall Walk SE11 5HL
