Tenth Year for Freedom - Book Festival
Saturday 17 October 2026
11:00 to 16:00
Palewell Press is celebrating - this is our tenth year as a Human Rights publisher.
Join us for prose and poetry readings, panel discussions, books on sale, food and friendship at Brompton Library (not Kensington Library as previously advertised).
The day features readings from one or more books published in each of our ten years. Our line-up includes refugees sharing their lived experience of migration, environmental poets, and people writing about love, neurodivergence and homelessness.
The venue has changed. We will be at Brompton Library, 210 Old Brompton Road, SW5 0BS. The Library is about eight minutes' walk from Earls Court tube station and close to several bus routes
