Front cover of Grave Seas

Hussam Eddin Baramo is a Syrian writer and journalist based in London. His poetry is on the linked themes of Refugees, War, Migration and the Immigration Process. In his poems, Hussam tries to piece together his deep unchanging feelings towards his country. Away from home, in his encounter with the outside world, he conjures up the image of a soldier, a refugee, his father or his brother - his enemy, as if to remind us that he is not alone in this feeling. At once breath-taking in scope and intimately based on his own and other refugees' real experiences, this is a collection not to be missed.

Grave Seas launched in March 2021. You can order the collection for £8.99 (excluding postage) from this page or from Amazon.
