Front cover of "The Punished Wound"

Simon Lichman's poignant poetry collection was inspired by the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.  Simon is the Founding Executive Director of the Centre for Creativity in Education and Cultural Heritage, a non-profit-making organisation in Jerusalem, which brings together Israeli and Palestinian, Jewish and Arab (Moslem and Christian) communities through educational programmes based on folklore. His poems reveal the emotional and psychological burden of working towards peaceful coexistence during the ongoing violent hostilities between and within the nations.

The Punished Wound launched in London during 2023 and a launch in Jerusalem is being planned. You can order a copy from this page for £9.99 plus postage.
