Open Mic - Human Rights & Climate Change

Thursday 20 March 2025
18:30 to 20:00

Monthly Open Mic on Climate Change and Human Rights - Palewell Press in collaboration with Freedom from Torture and other charities - in the Community Café at ETNA. Share your own words or some by a poet you admire, buy books and make new friends.

This month we're looking forward to a reading by Alison Lock - a nature poet based in North Wales - and author of Unfurling - poetry as meditations and observances; and Thrift - poetry on the healing power of Nature. A treat for everyone who cares about the environment. And we're also part of ETNA's series of pop-up events celebrating International Women's Day. So listen out for some poems in praise of inspirational women.

Every third Thursday. 18:30-20.00. Entry £5 at the door, concessions free. Sign-up early for Open Mic. ETNA is on bus routes through Twickenham and Richmond and a few minutes walk from St Margaret's mainline station.
